Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts follows 13-year-old Kipo Oak, a half-human, half-mute girl who emerges from an underground burrow to discover a post-apocalyptic surface world inhabited by giant mutated animals called 'mutes.' As Kipo searches for her father and learns to control her own mute abilities, she forms friendships with other surface survivors and works to bridge the divide between humans and mutes. The series features strong LGBTQ+ representation, including openly gay characters and same-sex relationships, alongside diverse cultural backgrounds and themes of acceptance, environmentalism, family bonds, and finding peaceful solutions to conflict.
