Brother Bear

A young Inuit hunter named Kenai is transformed into a bear by the spirits as a lesson in empathy and understanding after he kills a bear out of hatred. Guided by his deceased brother's spirit and accompanied by a talkative bear cub named Koda, Kenai must learn to see the world through different eyes while journeying to a sacred mountain. The film respectfully incorporates Indigenous Alaskan/Inuit culture, traditions, and spiritual beliefs throughout the story. The narrative explores themes of brotherhood, forgiveness, the interconnectedness of all living beings, and learning to overcome prejudice and hatred.
