On the alien moon Pandora, a paraplegic former Marine uses advanced technology to control an alien body and infiltrate the indigenous Na'vi people for a mining operation. The story follows Jake Sully's transformation as he learns Na'vi culture and ultimately fights to protect their homeland from human colonization.
