An American Tail: Fievel Goes West
In this animated sequel, young mouse Fievel Mousekewitz and his Russian-Jewish immigrant family leave New York City for the American frontier, believing the West holds no cats and unlimited cheese. Fievel becomes separated from his family again and must navigate the Wild West while learning about courage and finding his place in America. The film continues to explore themes of immigration, cultural identity, and the immigrant experience in America through the lens of anthropomorphic animals. It celebrates perseverance and family bonds while addressing the challenges faced by newcomers seeking the American Dream.
