The Princess in Black
by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale
Princess Magnolia lives a double life as both a proper princess who loves tea parties and a superhero known as the Princess in Black who fights monsters threatening the kingdom. When monsters attack the goat pasture, she must secretly transform to save the day while maintaining her royal facade. The story celebrates themes of heroism, dual identity, and breaking gender stereotypes as the princess uses both her royal training and superhero skills to protect others.
