The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician's Nephew

This prequel to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe tells the origin story of Narnia through young Digory Kirke and his friend Polly Plummer, who accidentally travel between worlds using magical rings. Their adventures lead them to witness the creation of Narnia by the great lion Aslan, encounter the evil Queen Jadis (later the White Witch), and ultimately help establish the magical wardrobe connection between worlds. The story explores themes of friendship, redemption, the consequences of curiosity, and the battle between good and evil, while featuring diverse fantastical creatures and lands.
