Crooked Kingdom

The sequel to Six of Crows follows Kaz Brekker and his crew of teenage criminals as they attempt to rescue their captured teammate and seek revenge against those who betrayed them in the fantastical city of Ketterdam. The story features a diverse cast including characters from various cultural backgrounds inspired by different real-world cultures, and explores themes of trauma, loyalty, found family, and the moral complexities of survival in a harsh world. The narrative includes romantic relationships between characters of different ethnicities and backgrounds, with some characters dealing with physical disabilities and past trauma that affects their mental health.
